Compensation & Premium Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Base salary of $130,000 – $200,000 + production (Pro-Sal) based on a 3-day or 4-day week with no negative accrual
• Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 total bonus—50% awarded following your 90-day onboarding/probationary period and 50% on your one-year anniversary.
• Relocation Support: $5,000 relocation stipend to ensure a smooth transition for you and your family to the Western Veterinary Group community.
• Automatic Retirement Growth: A 401(k) plan with a guaranteed 3% employer contribution—we invest in your future even if you choose not to contribute.
• Comprehensive Health Allotment: We provide a dedicated monthly medical insurance allotment, giving you the flexibility to choose the coverage that fits your life.
• Integrative Care Options: Your well-being isn’t one-size-fits-all. We offer robust plans for Dental and Vision, plus specialized coverage for Chiropractic and Acupuncture care.
• Professional Investment: Generous annual CE allowance, plus all professional dues, licenses (DEA, DVM, AVMA, CVMA, SCVMA), and PLIT insurance allotment of $400 per renewal.

Qualifications

• DVM with a California license (or ability to obtain).

• 2 years of small animal clinic experience.

• A passion for high-quality medicine and clear client communication.
