Michelle Welton
DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Welton grew up mostly in the Southern United States. Her undergrad took her to Colorado where she studied Theater, psychology, and mountain life. After a turn in the real world, she decided to transition into the veterinary world. She got her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech and never looked back. She enjoys the human/animal bond, and senior pets. Seeking sunshine and easy vibes, she moved to the South Bay area in 2021 where she lives with her Bullmastiff, Blake.

Dr. Regina Veit was born and raised on a small dairy farm near Munich, Germany. Her studies in languages soon brought her overseas to California, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from CSUDH. Dr. Veit received her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences. She is also certified in veterinary acupuncture by the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and offers alternative and integrative medicine consultations for cats and dogs. In her free time she enjoys hiking, yoga, wine tasting and relaxing at home with her daughter Rose, three dogs Susie, Punkin, Bernie, and her two cats Grebez, and OG.
Susan Sanchez
DVM
Dr. Sanchez is a California native and grew up in Santa Monica and Culver City. She obtained her undergraduate degree and worked in a research lab studying the structure and function of enzymes on the corn plant from CSULA. She received her veterinary degree from Ross University in St. Kitts, which is a tiny little island in the Caribbean, and finished her clinical year at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (go Vols!). Dr. Sanchez enjoys reading, baking, wine tasting, running, SEC football every fall, and spending time with her family and their dog Dublin.
Rachael Strauss
DVM
Dr. Strauss grew up in a suburb of Washington DC. She graduated from Cornell University with an undergraduate degree in Biology, and then went on to obtain her doctorate degree from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After spending 8 years in upstate New York, Dr. Strauss moved to the South Bay area for the sunshine in Southern California. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cross-stitching, going to the beach, and hiking with her family and her rescue Chihuahua mix, Bentley.
